The Devexperts Company was founded on July 1st, 2002 with the main objective to develop implement and provide 24/7 hour support of high-grade software for on-line Forex trading, banking, and brokerage. For the last five years the company has grown five times both in team number and in floor space. Today, we have dozens of implemented projects based on innovative Devexperts' technology in the United States, Great Britain, Japan, and Russia that continue to gain recognition and benefit our customers.
2007
Devexperts has grown by up to 150 people. The company releases Dealbook 360 mobile version for the Global Forex Trading company enabling the users to get easy access to the FX trading resources via their mobile devices.
The thinkorswim solution developed by Devexperts has toped Barron's 2007 list of broker software for the second year in a row earning 4½ out of a possible five stars, and proved the high quality of Devexperts’ solutions and services.
The development of Devexperts’ flash charting module finishes with its successful commercial release. The module has received warm customers’ approval very soon after its launch and has been awarded by “Russian Flash Awards” as the best project utilizing advanced Flash features for technical achievements.
2006
The Devexperts’s company expanded to 100 specialists and entered the UK market by releasing the first version of Dealbook 360 for the UK.
The year continued with successful launch of WebBank solution for Investment Company Vitus listed in the top 20 of Russia's bibbest companies. Vitus experts chose Devexperts' WebBank software after they had provided the thorough quality assurance of the systems, already implemented by Devexperts.
The first version of thinkorswim Charting platform was successfully launched for the thinkorswim Inc, and the Devexperts' specialists started a new project for KIT Finance company that highly appreciated the quality and efficiency of the Devexperts' WebBank software previously developed and implemented for KIT Finance.
The thinkorswim system, developed by Devexperts, ranked 1st and 2nd in the "Annual Review of Online Brokers" of "Barron’s" magazine and was the only broker software to achieve a 4½ star rating (the highest) for both web based and software based platforms. But this was not the only award of the year as the Trader Monthly magazine rated the DealBook® 360 FX trading software, developed by the Devexperts, as the Best Foreign Exchange Platform of Year.
2005
The company's team grew up to 80 specialists, working hard on development and updating of numerous Devexperts' projects. The Devexperts launched and implemented the «WebDoc» broker document management solution for ZAO Baltic Financial Agency, continued the development of thinkpipes solution, and started to work on Dealbook 360 for CFD/SB trading and on thinkorswim Charting projects.
After the thinkpipes project was successfully launched and implemented for the thinkorswim Inc, the Devexperts released an updated version of thinkAnywhere application and instantly started to develop a new thinkorswim's project – thinklink OMS (Arrowhead). This solution was intended to provide means of operating on the stock market by both orders redirection to the related stock board and distribution of large transactions among the number of stock boards so that to handle volumes of more than 100 million US dollars without significant influence on the market.
The Devexperts realized that as the company was growing rapidly it extremely needed highly-qualified specialists who could handle the Devexperts’ innovative technologies. To solve this problem, the company decided to establish an exchange program -the Evolution Lab, intended for senior students and graduates from the Saint-Petersburg technical universities. In the course of the program, the newcomers gain experience in the design work, learn new technologies, acquire new knowledge and skills, adapt to the corporate culture.
2004
The Devexperts Company kept on growing and comprised 60 employees. The Devexperts released a new solution for high-performance message processing – Quote Distribution System (QDS), designed to handle large volumes of incoming market information in a real-time mode. Today, the Quote Distribution System is successfully integrated into most of the Devexperts' projects, and can be easily conjoined with almost any brokerage system, providing fast and smooth processing of customers' requests and distributing by up to 300 000 quotes per second.
By the end of the year, the first version of thinkAnywhere - a trading application for mobile devices of PocketPC family - was successfully released for thinkorswim Inc, enabling the customers to get all trading functionality anywhen and anywhere via a Pocket PC device.
The year 2005 brought the Devexperts its first and welcome award that benefited years of diligent work. In Barron's 2005 "Annual Review of Online Brokers" the thinkorswim solution was rated one of the top 4 online brokers in America and #1 in Trade Execution.
2003
The Devexperts' rate of growth was increasing so that the company's team expanded to 50 specialists, occupied in software development, implementation, quality assurance and maintenance. The Devexperts' Maintenance and Support Department was established to provide 24/7 real-time control for the latest solutions - DealBook 360 and thinkorswim Inc. To handle this task, the Devexperts Company developed, and is constantly improving, its own monitoring software, to provide a non-stop collection of system parameters and monitoring and supervision of subsystem operation (read more).
The WebBank project was successfully launched, customized and implemented for the KIT Finance investment bank to manage the financials and to provide its clients with easy access to all necessary services via the Internet without need to install any additional client-side software. Today, the WebBank system daily processes more than 400 commissions, enabling private individuals and professional traders to save much time and efforts on documents handling
By the end of the year the company started a new large project for thinkorswim Inc – Thinkpipes trading platform – a solution for professional stock market trades. The solution was to include a wide range of advanced functionality developed specially for the needs of trading professionals.
The years 2003 ended with release of the DealBook FX Mobile application for MS Windows Pocket PC edition providing the customers with the most convenient real-time access to FOREX international on-line trading.
2002
The Devexperts’ team, comprising 30 specialists, started with development of two large projects - Dealbook 360, an international on-line trading platform, designed for Global Forex Trading (USA), and Thinkorswim trading platform, developed for thinkorswim Inc (USA) as a system for futures, options and stock on-line trading. Both solutions were planned as highly integrated and customized systems designed to fit particular business requirements of the customers. By the end of the year, both Devexperts' solutions – Dealbook 360 and thinkorswim - were launched and very soon they proved their high quality, effectiveness and reliability so that to be highly acclaimed and awarded by the authoritative magazines.
Simultaniously with USA projects, the company started its expansion to the Russian financial market with development of the WebBank and WebDoc solutions. The WebBank system was meant to provide services for investments companies via Internet in compliance with Russian legislation. The WebDoc project was intended to handle various electronic broker documents, processed by the clients. The WebBank and WebDoc clients were supposed to get access to payment services and document exchange (payment documents, broker and depository commissions, extractions and reports, payment commissions, information on balances, etc) from anywhere around the world right in user browser application.
