The main application content is a quotes data for various financial instruments like indices, stocks, futures and other underlying or derivative instruments. dxMarket provides access to delayed or real-time data and historical aggregated price information (charts).

dxMarket application is a thin client application with dedicated server backend module. Server component is responsible for integration with data provider services, user authentication service integration, managing user's subscription and permissions.

Client application connects to server component via MOBTR protocol (TCP socket-based with optional HTTP fall-back).

Application has rich and attractive GUI, is intuitive and easy-to-use.

Important Features

Supported mobile platforms: Currently two mobile platforms are planned to be supported: iPhone and Android.

Application modules: Client application consists of several modules, responsible for representation of different content or additional features.

Markets module: Displays current market conditions based on indices data from various exchanges, including daily historical chart for them. dxMarket may also display open and close time of exchanges, current time-to-close (or time-to-open).

Favorite’s module: Allows user to setup the list of his favorite symbols to monitor them.

Instrument details module: Displays detailed information about currently selected symbol, provides access to different chart settings, etc.

News: Displays news feeds and separate articles.

Video and Audio: Displays video and audio channels list, includes playback controls for them.

Authorization module: Allows user to log into the system with user name and password to get access to extended (paid) subscriptions and real-time quote feeds. Provides auto-login feature. User permissions for paid features and user accounts to be managed on server side, in separate authentication service.
