Generally, mobile solutions are unique for every platform. Devexperts develops uniform user interfaces with similar functionality that do not depend on the type of mobile device. We strive for covering all platforms that are powerful enough for full-functional client applications development. The main feature of our mobile devices – is a wide range of useful technical characteristics such as:
- Data input method: mobile phone numeric pad, full QWERTY-keyboard, touchscreen, etc.
- Screen resolution can vary from 160x160 to 640x480;
- CPU with processing rate ranging from 20-33 to 400-500 MHz;
- Dynamic memory and user data storage volume: from 1-2 MB to gigabytes on external memory cards;
Every platform and even every single mobile device requires an individual approach. Devexperts started to develop its first specific client applications for Microsoft Windows Mobile® (Pocket PC) platform in the first quarter of 2003.
In 2004-2005 Devexperts analyzed and developed such alternative platforms as RIM Blackberry®, mobile phones supporting J2ME; presently we are researching DoJa standards applied in Japan and monitoring PalmOS, SymbianOS and BREW platforms.
One of the mobile interfaces supported is web pages designed for mobile browsing (for mobile phones and Pocket PC's); WAP, i-Mode and compact HTML application versions are released; an extended HTML version not requiring pre-installation of any elements will be released in the nearest future.
Project modular architecture allows maximum unification of mobile application functional units of and provides easy adaptation of this application to a particular software/hardware environment.
