The Department of WEB Research & Development was established in 2006 to solve a wide range of tasks concerning implementation of web technologies in Devexperts solutions. Today, WEB Department is an important part of Devexperts’ production process and comprises more than 20 specialists involved in web development and research.
- GUI Design
- The main business line of the GUI-team is the development of graphical user interfaces. The team handles all company projects on user interface design, and creates user friendly and easy on the eye front-ends for web and desktop applications, flash-charting, and mobile devices.
- Flash/Flex
- One of the major tasks of the Flash-team is the development of cross-platform RIA-applications for financial systems based on advanced Flash and Flex technologies and capable to work in all user browsers. The choice of vector graphics as the main method of flash program development enables to create animated interfaces that include a wide range of multimedia elements, such as motion, sound, and object interaction.
- .Net development
- The .Net-team is occupied in the company projects that involve web-technologies, and specializes in implementation of ASP.NET technology, so that the websites are performed as complex distributed systems with databases and third party tools. ASP.NET technology can be used for all types of web-projects including large corporate networks.
- Marketing & PR
- The main objectives of the Marketing & PR team are to provide promotional support for the company products, and to ensure the company expansion into Russian and global markets. These involve designing and maintenance of the corporate web-sites, and the development of various ad campaigns, promotional materials and printing products, such as promotional banners, calendars, brochures, flyers, business cards, etc.
- Documentation
- The main business line of the Technical Documentation team is to develop help documentation providing detailed description of the product features and functions, and explanation of how to use the product effectively and facilitate the ongoing use of a program. The team also enables instant updating of documents as soon as any fresh version of a software product is released.
The high expertise of the WEB specialists was recognized in 2007 at the “Russian Flash Awards” contest. The authoritative jury ranked Devexperts’ flash-charting module developed by the Flash-team as the best work utilizing the most advanced flash features in the “Technical achievements” nomination.
